Through our Honoring Those Who Serve program, we donate one free roof to a deserving veteran or first responder.
This month, American Remodeling selected a retired United States Army veteran from Dickson City in Lackawanna County, PA as the next recipient. After serving three years in the Army, the veteran has spent the past 26 years living with Parkinson’s disease. The roof had reached the end of its lifespan, creating a need for a replacement that our Honoring Those Who Serve program was proud to provide.
The veteran was nominated by his home health caregiver, who shared his story and the challenges he and his wife face each day. After reviewing the nomination, our team knew this was an opportunity to give back to someone who has dedicated his life to serving our country.
American Remodeling is also grateful for the support of Blue Star Mothers of NEPA PA-14, whose generous $2,500 donation helped make this project possible. Their contribution reflects the same commitment to honoring and supporting those who have served and allows us to make an even greater impact in our local communities.
American Remodeling encourages the community to continue nominating veterans or first responders in need through the Honoring Those Who Serve program.

The upcoming roof installation will be completed by American Remodeling’s professional roofing team, and photos and video of the transformation will be shared once the project is complete.
