American Remodeling Offers Free Turkey Dinner Meal Kits to Spread Thanksgiving Joy in Collaboration with Weis Markets and Plain ‘N Fancy
American Remodeling went above and beyond home renovations this Thanksgiving to make the holiday more enjoyable for nearby families. To guarantee that everyone could have a warm and filling Thanksgiving meal with their loved ones, the company partnered with area grocery chain Weis Markets and local favorite Plain ‘N Fancy to give away 200 complimentary turkey dinner meal kits.
The meal packages were thoughtfully created to provide everything needed for a traditional Thanksgiving feast, featuring:
- A whole turkey (provided by Weis Markets)
- Stuffing
- 3 pounds of potatoes
- Cans of green beans and corn
- Gravy
- Cranberry sauce
- Sweet potatoes
- A pie
- A dozen pumpkin spice donuts (provided by Plain ‘N Fancy)
“Thanksgiving is about gratitude and community,” American Remodeling owner Jason Larsen stated. Our collaboration with Plain ‘N Fancy and Weis Markets allowed us to increase the effect of this program even further. We’re working together to help families make treasured holiday experiences.
Voucher Distribution and Community Impact
American Remodeling ensured the meal kits reached those who needed them most by working with local organizations and engaging with their online community:
- 50 meal vouchers were shared with local churches
- 10 meal vouchers were donated to the Schuylkill Haven Area School District
- 140 meal vouchers were distributed to American Remodeling’s Facebook followers
On November 26, 2024, families redeemed their vouchers at American Remodeling’s Schuylkill Haven office, where the majority of the meal kits were handed out. Additionally, 10 Thanksgiving meal kits were personally delivered to Schuylkill Haven High School to support local students and families.
