At American Remodeling, giving back to the community isn’t something we do once, it’s a commitment we carry forward every month.
Through our Honoring Those Who Serve program, American Remodeling donates one free roof every month to a deserving veteran or first responder. The program was created to recognize those who have served our country and communities by providing something lasting: a safe, reliable roof over their heads.
Veterans and first responders are selected through community nominations and must own their home, live within our service area, and be in need of a roof replacement. Each nomination tells a story, and every month, one of those stories becomes an opportunity for us to give back in a meaningful way.
This month, American Remodeling selected a local United States Air Force veteran as the next Honoring Those Who Serve recipient. The veteran was recently surprised with the news after being nominated by a member of the community. In the coming weeks, our team will install a brand-new roof at no cost at the veteran’s home in Pottsville, PA.
“This program is about more than roofing, it’s about recognition,” said Jason Larsen, President of American Remodeling. “By honoring one hero each month, we’re able to give back in a way that truly makes a difference for the people who have given so much.”
The selected veteran was chosen from multiple nominations submitted by community members, highlighting just how many deserving individuals live and serve in our area.
American Remodeling encourages the public to take part in the Honor a Hero program by nominating veterans or first responders who may benefit from a free roof replacement. Nominations are accepted year-round, with one hero selected every month.

The upcoming roof installation will be completed by American Remodeling’s professional roofing team, and photos and video from the project will be shared following completion.
